It is so incredible for me to be able to watch my clients and their families grow.
Mommy and child sessions melt my heart. Perhaps because I am a mother myself, or maybe because I adore my own mother. Whatever the reason, to me, mommy and me portraits are so important (I really need to listen to my own advice and get in front of the camera with my daughter more! 😉 )
I was so excited to photograph these two gorgeous ladies. Smiles, laughter and pure love were the order for the day <3
Last year I met this gorgeous girl and her stunning family (and I am super excited to see them again in April!)
She was an absolute doll for the camera – with those big doe eyes and shy smile, she just melted my heart <3
Here are a few of my favourites from her session.
Those pretty blue eyes!
There is so much love within this family!
And mommy’s princess.

Another photo shoot from last year that I am excited to blog!
I photographed this family over a year ago (you can see their gorgeous previous session HERE!) and this year, there was an addition to the family! What an absolute privilege it is, watching my client’s family’s grow <3
Quite possibly one my favourite littlest clients EVER – this handsome guy is such a doll! He has such personality and seriously hams it up for the camera <3
His gorgeous mom contacted me and told me she wanted to do something a little different. Something urban, edgy, stylish with a touch of class. Of course, I love hearing things like that 😉
This beautiful woman got treated to a photo shoot for her birthday – she wanted to wear her wedding gown again (such an awesome idea – a sure fire way to feel absolutely incredible). We discussed doing her family photos at her home and then moving to a small park alongside her house for the images in her wedding dress. It drizzled a little that day, but nothing could stop us!
While I will no longer be offering posed newborn sessions (sessions where baby is undressed and posed on and in various blankets/baskets with hats/props), I am still excited to share these previous sessions with you – simply because I celebrate every one of my sessions and I love being a part of and capturing the tiny details of your bundle!
(In case you are wondering, I am now only offering lifestyle type newborn sessions – this is a session that concentrates on your beautiful baby in their environment as well as the bond you have with baby).
Catching up on blogging some earlier sessions (this one is so early, it was in February!!). I love the end of summer – that week or two before autumn sets in. The air is crisp but still warm – the rainstorms threaten and the air smells new. This day was no exception – we got some light drizzle but still pressed on (Mom and Dad were such troopers)!
Social media is fantastic – this pretty little girl’s mom and I went to school together (we finished school ten years ago already but I am totally not ready to acknowledge how much time has passed!) She contacted me through Facebook (you can check my photography page out HERE) and we decided on a date and venue for me to meet her little girl and photograph her.
When I met sweet Layla, all it took was one look from her and I instantly adored her! She has an incredibly peaceful personality and she is surrounded by love.
I’m just catching up on a blog post or two between editing sessions (I’m busy with a divine lifestyle session that I simply cannot wait to share more of with you – see the sneak peek for it over HERE!)
I have been itching to share this gorgeous mom and her equally beautiful family with you. We started off at their beautiful home and then finished off the session at one of my all time favourite spots to shoot at – Delta Park
Okay, so I am finally starting to blog my 2014 sessions! I know we’re already half way through the year, but I’ve been making sure that all of you, my incredible clients, are getting your galleries on time now that I finally have a couple of days to catch up on some quality blogging, I’m so excited to show you what I’ve been up to this year!
These beautiful children’s mom contacted me asking if I could capture some memorable shots of her two pre teens and then put them together in a 2014 diary for her. For the record, I LOVE personalised diaries and have one of my own – they make such wonderful christmas gifts too!
We started off with some individual shots:
I loooove shots of siblings together – there is always a bit of mischievousness and sometimes even a few “ewww” faces, but there is ALWAYS a moment where I capture pure trust and love.
These two love swimming and are quite good at it – competing regularly in local and national competitions, so a shot like this was a must have
Another quick outfit change and we did a last range of photos – some fun, some serious, some playful. My favourites are by far the serious ones – I am such a sucker for soulful eyes <3
I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed looking back on this shoot
