It’s been a while since I shared a shoot of my daughter. This year I have been more creative with her shoots, including her friends in some of them and we have had loads of fun!One of my favourite things about summer on the highveld is the afternoon thunder storms; they arrive quickly and leave just as fast. On this particular afternoon, there was a huge storm which was over within 30 minutes. I knew that the puddles at one of our local parks would be glorious so I dressed HRH, grabbed my camera and headed out. On a side note, I made that dress for her – yes, ME! I am so proud – thanks Mom, for teaching me how to sew! 😉
There were so many amazing images from the day that I struggled to choose which ones to share – I already have two of them enlarged and up on my wall!
I might have made the dress, but she chose the fabric. She fell in love with the bunnies!
This light was divine.
She happily jumped in all the puddles for me!
Then, we just decided to go for it and get down in the water.
By this stage, we were both laying in water! This is probably one of my favourite photos I have ever taken of my daughter *insert soppy proud mommy stuff here*
